Haywards Star-Clear Plus filters for cartridge filtration provide improved quality, value, and simplicity to clean your pool efficiently. The best option for the most demanding applications and environmental conditions, Star-Clear Plus filter W3C17502 offers a larger filtering element and a higher effective filtration area.  

A continuous or intermittent operation is possible with the Hayward W3C17502 Star-Clear Plus Cartridge 175 Sq Ft with 2″ FIP Ports In Ground Pool Filter. For reliable, corrosion-free performance, the tank is composed of high-strength, injection-molded PermaGlass. Without using any tools, you may disassemble the filter cartridge and remove it. Star-Clear Plus filters will work in even the most difficult applications and environments. A new filter element with a 175 sq ft capacity is included inside the Hayward W317502 Star-Clear Plus cartridge filter. Depending on bather and debris levels, the filter should be cleaned every three to four months, and the cartridge should be changed every two to three years.
